Hammer-In 2019 is in the record book. We had over 50 folks registered. The anvil stew recipe was a unique blend of ingredients and warmed the soul on a cool damp evening.
The auction had a record number of items and set a new record for sales.
Here are some of photos of an exciting weekend.
Terry Sheridan demonstrated the making of several items from early americana. Shown is a device used by hunters to carry game as he hunted. Terry is an excellent and skilled demonstrator.
Here are the items entered in the home forging contest.

Members enjoying the catered banquet.
After the banquet, the auction is always an entertaining time.
The Saturday night forging contest was to make 3 wing-nuts from 3 pieces of 3/4" X 1/4" stock 2-1/2 " long. The time limit was 1 hour. The first photo shows what the result should be. The second photo are those made by the contest entrants.
Saturday night after the forging contest, members gather in the barn to be entertained by Ken Coleman. Ken has memorized both the notes and words of many songs from a variety of genres. A lot of pickin and singin, a few jokes and perhaps some adult beverages.
